After doing some recent events, I found that I may need to branch out a little more to sounds that other people enjoy. If my purpose in doing this is to spread Screw's legacy, that can only go so far if I only do songs I tend to enjoy or albums I've enjoyed in the past. That was what drove a lot of my tape choices along with requests from my peers and followers.
Only Time sounded so dope to me, so I chopped it up. And I found out recently it is one of Gucci's most recent hit songs. Glad he's still able to chart, big ups to his grind fr fr. I'll happily chop this project as a way of adopting a new attitude to artist selections.
My new journey will be expansive. I'm going to be touching more rock music, more bop hip-hop, more lyrical artists, and even some house mixes. I hope you guys join me on the next leg of my chopped & screw journey. RIP DJ Screw. Tracklist will be ready once I get the blend order down.
